Cleanliness Policy
Our Commitment to our Guests
The cleanliness and hygiene of our hotel are of the utmost importance to us, so we are taking additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and team members. Our hotel’s health and safety measures are designed to target a broad range of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guestroom and common area cleaning procedures.
Please note the outdoor spa is currently closed and we are not offering a hot buffet breakfast at this time.
Highlights
Cleaning Protocols and Products
We have taken additional measures, following the guidance of global and local public health authorities (including the WHO and CDC), to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous. We have continued the use of hospital-grade disinfectant and have increased the deployment of hand sanitizers along with the below.
Back of House
In the spaces where team members work "behind the scenes," we are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like team member entrances, breakrooms, laundry rooms, and offices.
Public Spaces
We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on the counter at the front desk, elevators, and elevator buttons, door handles, public bathrooms, etc.
Guest Rooms
We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items/areas.
Blue Agave Restaurant
- Each team members is required to get a temperature check prior to starting a shift. They are also required to wear gloves as well as a mask at all times.
- Tables have been cut down to 25% occupancy to ensure 6ft of social distancing between guests.
- All guests are required to wear masks upon entry and when going to or from table/restroom per California mandate.
Team Members
The health and safety of our team members, as well as their hygiene knowledge, are vital to an effective cleaning program. Below are some of the ways we are supporting them:
- At daily meetings, all team members are reminded to wash/sanitize their hands frequently throughout their shifts.
- Masks and gloves are provided to all team members.
- Plexiglass has been installed at the front desk to protect both team members and guests and markers are used at the front desk to aid adherence to social distancing guidelines.
- Team members are all educated on and informed of proper infection control procedures and current sanitation guidelines/regulations related to COVID-19 (per local government, CDC, and WHO).
